The NowSignage team are very proud to have released of our Android app, version 2.1.0 that is now available for all supported devices, on both Google Play and Amazon App Store.
We worked with a few of our customers to implement features that we knew were great additions to the platform, and we’re grateful for their feedback and time while developing this update.
Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger
Earlier in October we released version 2.0.0 of the NowSignage Android app. This was a fundamental rewrite of how we download, store and display your digital signage content.
We embedded the knowledge we’ve gained from the hearty disruption we’ve performed on the industry so far, and we hope to further improve the app as we evolve.
Television Rules The Nation
One of the most requested features since launching the new rewrite was the ability to stream IPTV channels and other livestreamed content. We already had the ability to stream YouTube channels, but there’s a great wealth of content out there on IPTV – from breaking news to podcasts, to live camera feeds of some of the world’s most popular locations.
From this update, we released at no additional cost, you’ll be able to set your own IPTV streams on your digital signage; either provided by you, or you can take advantage of a few curated sources we’ve found across the inteet.
Nightvision
As extreme weather conditions become more normalised, it’s more important than ever that we reduce how much energy we use.
At NowSignage, we’re committed to ensuring digital signage doesn’t come at a cost to the environment, and so we’ve ensured that no matter how you power down your set, we’ll be right back when you tu it on again.
