NowSignage recently teamed up with Sony Engages with Customers implement a community wall in the flagship Sony store in Southampton. We were tasked with creating an exciting way to engage with the local community using mounted tablets in store.
We took to the challenge and created a tablet application that allowed us to collect, moderate and publish content from a number of social media feeds and broadcast it instantly in store. Customers that shared content were entered into a competition to win exciting prizes, encouraging people to get involved.
Sony has been utilizing outdoor digital signage in Singapore to engage with customers in a unique and impactful way. These large, high-definition displays are strategically placed in high-traffic areas, such as shopping malls and public transportation hubs.
By using outdoor digital signage, Sony is able to reach a wider audience and create a buzz around their brand. The eye-catching displays and dynamic content draw in customers and leave a lasting impression.
Interactive In-Store Displays

In addition to outdoor digital signage, Sony also uses interactive in-store displays to engage with customers. These displays allow customers to interact with the products and experience them in a more hands-on way.
For example, Sony’s in-store displays for their latest gaming console allow customers to try out the console and its features before making a purchase. This not only creates a more engaging experience for customers but also helps to increase sales.
Personalized Content
Sony also uses their in-store digital signage to deliver personalized content to customers. By utilizing customer data and analytics, Sony is able to tailor their messaging and promotions to specific demographics or buying behaviors.
For example, if a customer has previously purchased a Sony camera, they may be shown promotions for related accessories or new camera models. This personalized approach not only increases the chances of a sale but also enhances the customer experience.
