Government back Social Signage project to push boundaries of social
Over the past years NowSignage have become widely recognised as the most advanced Social Signage & Twitter Wall technology on the market, offering their Managed Service platform to the likes of X-Factor, Bupa Great North Run and Manchester United.
It has now been announced by the Technology Strategy Board that the Govement are to back this innovative UK company, to ensure that these capabilities can be rolled out to the mass market. Giving events organisers full control over their big screen content will allow small & big events alike to maximise social media participation, inform their audience and open up new revenue streams. Over the next eight months NowSignage will be undertaking a £100k project which will see the introduction of their Saas platform (Software-as-a-service).
EventBeat director Nick Johnson:
“The Technology Strategy Board has presented us with a huge opportunity as we strive to become recognized globally as market leaders in Social Signage technology.
This project aims to take it to the next level by building a self-service platform that will enable event organisers to create fully branded/animated feeds, upload images from asset libraries, schedule digital adverts, broadcast video content & monitor live event activity; all at the click of a button!
We are extremely excited at the prospect of the next eight months as we undertake our project which will look to grow our business, both within the Manchester community and to a global audience.”
NowSignage new platform will be pioneering for the event industry due to the ease that it enables you to control the content that you want to have on screen at your event.
